In Aetolian local government, a consolidated municipality-district (Aetolian: δήμος-περιοχή, dimos-periochi) is a municipality and district that have been merged into one unified jurisdiction. As such it is simultaneously a municipality and a district, which is a first-level administrative division of Aetolia. It has the powers and responsibilities of both types of entities.
